"Police in Russia have arrested a group making fake aircraft parts and selling them to Russian and foreign airlines. The six men are reportedly either former or current employees of Russia's biggest jet-engine maker, Saturn. They were arrested as they attempted to sell counterfeit products worth more than $ US 140,000. According to the Russian authorities, the men have been stealing components from the Saturn aviation plant and used them to make engine parts for TU-154 passenger jets and IL-76 cargo planes. Authorities said they have yet to establish which airlines purchased them."

Do you know Guadeloupe? You certainly know it if you like football thanks to Thierry Henry, but Mr Henry is not the most spectacular! Guadeloupe is even more extraordinary! Tolik and I spent there 10 wonderful days!

Guadeloupe is located in the Caribbean Sea. It is an overseas department of France as well as one of the regions of France. As part of France, Guadeloupe is part of the European Union! That's why its currency is the euro!

Guadeloupe comprises five islands. The biggest ones and the ones we visited are Basse-Terre and Grande-Terre, separated from Basse-Terre by a narrow sea channel called salt river. Basse-Terre has a volcanic relief, while Grande-Terre has flat plains.

In few words, Guadeloupe is a paradise. The weather is wonderful (never less than 28°C with a water temperature of 25°, the sea is magnificent, the people are nice, the cuisine is excellent ( you cannot imagine the quatity of exotic fruits and vegetables we tasted!)

Guadeloupe is a dream.

It is now very hard to wake up. We will live and work with the hope that we could come back and enjoy once again this fantastic life!
